The stand at Salon de la Photo 2022 had to hit a lot of goals for Innova Art. Not only were there two new products to showcase, but this was the first event since 2019. The stand had to remind the French audience of Innova Art’s core products:archival inkjet fine art surfaces. The challenge was compounded by having a limited amount of space to work with, just 6x4m.
A design was constructed in collaboration with the French retailer and the European distribution partner for Innova Art. The brief was to focus on the core range of archival inkjet media favoured by French printmakers – Innova Editions®. With an additional requirement to include printed examples of the new medias. Utilising the front of the stand, a feature was created to include the Innova Editions® range and an example of each new media. This was supported by utilising the rear space of the stand to create a feature dedicated to the new media. Once the design was approved, the team at the French retailer assisted with translation of large format stand graphics.
The brief also requested that the team had areas where they could sit and meet with interested parties. A reception style desk was incorporated into the design to provide a focal point for visitors interested in speaking to the team. Two tables, seating up to four people, were added as areas to sit comfortably for longer conversations.
Overall, the space was well received by the team who were present for the four days of the event. The show was deemed a success by Innova Art’s French retail partner. The display of the new products was commended for opening opportunities previously unexplored by their team. Activities on the stand were supported by regular social media posts throughout the event and a video round up after the event closed.
